What Are The Current Downtown San Diego Price Statistics?

If you read the newspaper, listen to the radio, or watch television, you think the home market is at the bottom. Over the years I have learned that contrary to popular media, numbers don't lie. So take a look at this current pricing chart. You will see it appears the median price has been increasing over the last year. What does that mean? It can mean that there are more buyers in the marketplace, or it can mean something as simple as the crop of current buyers are looking for a little more luxury, rather than less luxury. It could even mean that the higher priced inventory from last year is now priced to attract a buyer who sees the inherent value in owning downtown San Diego real estate.
