How Exciting Is This?
One of the advantages to living in Downtown San Diego are the myriad of events that are available to you. This coming week is an exciting event called The Festival of Sail 2008 sponsored by the Maritime Museum. This is going to be one of the most impressive harbor events for 2008. Tall ships are going to sail into the harbor Wednesday morning, August 20th, and once they tie up at the Embarcadero, you will have 4 days to view, board and sail aboard some exciting ships. There will be mock battles that you can watch, or participate in over the four days.
Sometimes it is just too too cool to live in San Diego, and if you live in Downtown San Diego, you are one of the luckiest people in the world. If you want a list of events for Festival of Sail, visit the Maritime Museum's website.
