Downtown San Diego Condos: What Can You Grow?

Condo living is great for lots of people, but if you love living in a condo and also love gardening, what can you do?  Downtown San Diego has lots of parks scattered around the area but none of the parks have a garden for you.  Condo gardening, whether Downtown San Diego, Hillcrest, Santee, or anywhere else creates a need for small plants in small places.  During this recessionary time, people also want to save money.

Have you been thinking about a condo garden?  Here is a place to start.

Do you have anything that can be grown in a condo?  I am looking for additional herbs or spices that can be grown in confined areas.  Let me know.  Once you start looking for condo-style plants, the search becomes interesting.
