Sale statistics for last month have been released by DataQuick and what strikes me as one of the most interesting things is that 24.4% of purchases were ALL CASH. Not only is that a fascinating statistic, but the fact that 19.1% of buyers were absentee buyers also contributes to the upswing in our San Diego marketplace. In other words, almost 20% of purchasers are coming from outside the area, and that should encourage all of us to remember we live in a great area.
DataQuick Statistics Not only is volume up, but prices are also increasing. Considering the economic chaos most of us are experiencing this is interesting development.
