New Condos Downtown San Diego: Nick's in Ocean Beach

One of the benefits to having properties for sale in different areas of San Diego is the fun of visiting different restaurants in the neighborhood. It's the "well we're here so we might as well eat" theory of food. That's one of my own special theories. We have had a lot of activity on the Ocean Beach cottage we have recently listed. After spending the afternoon showing the property, Victoria and I decided we were starving (or at least I was starving). Victoria took me to Nick's which is at the foot of Newport. Here is how we suffered with view while eating our lunch.

Of course, as you can see from the photo, this is my attempt at poor humor. Nick's is a great place. I had a wonderful tuna salad and we were able to see Ocean Beach on a beautiful San Diego day. There are lots of beautiful places in the world, but on a nice sunny day, I defy anyone to find me a place better than San Diego, if you love the ocean. I guess if you love wheat or corn, then Iowa or Kansas might be your idea of heaven. For us, heaven is San Diego.
