Downtown San Diego: Parade of Lights "Our 40th Anniversary, Back to the Future"

Photo courtesy of Nathan RupertLooking for something fun to do this coming Sunday evening, December 18th? How about the annual Parade of Lights in San Diego Harbor? This year's tour celebrates its 40th year of the parade. Isn't this photo, taken by Nathan Rupert, a great representation for the 40th year? This is a free event and you can view the boats from numerous locations in San Diego Harbor.

If you are having dinner at Anthonys or the Fish Market, you will have a front row seat from the Downtown San Diego side of the bay.  Take a walk around Seaport Village. If you would rather watch from the Coronado side, you can enjoy a dinner at I fornaio or Candelas at The Landing.

The parade route is actually about 7 miles and there will be thousands and thousands of viewers.  The parade begins about 5:30 p.m. at Shelter Island and will run until about 9 p.m.

For further information, or how to get there, visit the Parade of Lights website

Downtown San Diego Condos: Lunch at the Fish Market

Lunch at the Fish Market today was a really fun experience.  Victoria and I decided we wanted something outside Coronado so opted for the Fish Market down on the harbor front.  We enjoyed ourselves.  As always, the food was excellent and if you visit our Fish Market Gallery you can see how we gourged ourselves on grilled oysters, cilantro ginger shrimp and chowder.  Also, take a look at one of our visiting guests.

Everyday we are in downtown San Diego, we thank our lucky stars for living where we live.  San Diego, most particularly downtown San Diego is a fantastic place.  You are within walking distance to numerous condos such as The Grande, Electra, Breeza, Pinnacle, Horizons, etc. etc.

    We love it!

    Downtown San Diego Condos: OpenTable

I am guessing many of you will be light years ahead of me and already know about OpenTable.  I was going to make lunch reservations for one of our visiting clients and decided to book at the new Hilton Bayfront Hotel.  Eating at a restaurant around San Diego Harbor is always interesting and fun.  I found myself directed to  OpenTable.com to make a reservation and I thought that was pretty marvelous.  Yes, I am easily satisfied.

Now I will look organized and professional to our clients when we meet for lunch tomorrow.

New Condos Downtown San Diego - Take  Break

    Take A Break

Ever take a break? Wander to the water cooler, assuming you have one in your office, take a trip to the cafeteria or coffee machine?  When you are in San Diego you have choices like this for your break, especially if you live, work or live and work in Downtown San Diego. For an October day, this was so beautiful. Wait until you see the upcoming photos with the two cruise ships side by side in the harbor. Sometimes the beauty is so beautiful, I have to pinch myself to make sure this is not a dream!

If you don't live in San Diego, or in Downtown, take a lifestyle chance. This is the place to live.
