Downtown San Diego County: 92101 vs San Diego County Condos

Ever wonder how does the San Diego condo market sales stack up against the entire San Diego County condo sales market?  For us, a picture is easier to understand.  Some people work best with the written word.  We work best with pictures.  Not sure what that says about us, other than we are visual.  Here are two San Diego graphs.  The first chart is for Downtown San Diego, and more specifically Downtown San Diego condos.

As you can see, market time is about 2 weeks longer for Downtown San Diego condos.  That's really not surprising because financing a condo in a high rise is a little more complicated than financing a condo in a strictly residential area.  High-rise cndos have a smaller lender pool.

Downtown San Diego Condos: October Real Estate Report

Here is the link for the most current  San Diego real estate statistics.  Just click San Diego Real Estate Report and you can review statistics for September sales.  This is the seventh straight month of good sales.  We'd like to think sales will continue, but as you know in this marketplace, no one knows what is going to happen.  However, it is our experience that low end properties are going and gone.  I searched Downtown San Diego condos the other day and only found 14 units priced $225,000 or lower.  That statistic reinforces what we have found with our buyers.  You can also click the Real Estate Report graphic below to view the report.
