    MARINA DISTRICT CONDOS

Bounded by the Columbia district to the north, the Gaslamp Quarter to the east/south east, and the San Diego Marina to the south west is the Marina District. In the past, the Marina was nothing more than a group of warehouses and parking lots, but due in part to the waterfront baseball stadium, Petco Park, and a revitalized entertainment and shopping scene, the district has transformed from drab to spectacular, providing an urban playground for the residents.

Voted as one of the best places to retire in the 2007 edition of Money Magazine , the Marina has a lot to offer in the way of recreation and luxury living. The streets are lined with trees providing a peaceful and manicured touch to the area. The district is conveniently located within walking distance to many of the area’s amenities such as the Bay, Seaport Village, Horton Plaza, the Convention Center, and the Gaslamp District.
Some of the numerous parks and open spaces that residents can use to take advantage of the envious San Diego weather include Pantoja Park, Childrens Park, and the Martin Luther King Promenade. The Children’s Museum and a portion of the Asian Pacific Thematic Historic district are also located here. The Seaport Village, a 14 acre waterfront shopping and entertainment Mecca, is also located in the district. Seaport Village offers 54 shops, 13 casual restaurants, 4  fine-dining eateries and entertainment including musical, street performers and artisans.

The educational and cultural sites, the variety and close proximity of shopping and entertainment make the Marina District ideal for families, professionals and retirees. Some of the downtown San Diego Condos featured in the Marina District are Atria, Brick Yard,City Walk, Cityfront Terrace,, Columbia Place, Crown Bay,Harbor Club, Horizons, Island Lofts, Pacific Terrace, Park Place, Park Row, Renaissance, The Pinnacle Tower, and The Water Mark
